I am an award winning nature photographer based in Fife, Scotland and although I've had an interest in photography for many years, it's only since moving back to Scotland that my Photography has become my overriding passion.

I am overwhelmed by the beauty of nature and am passionate about preserving it for future generations and hope that my photos may go some small way to make a difference by showing others the beauty that I see.
 
When I photograph wildlife, one of my objectives is to capture their actions and behaviours in their natural environment, and show the details that are very difficult to see with the naked eye.

In my abstract pictures of nature. I aim to show the remarkable and stunning complexity of the natural world, the geometric patterns that underlie all of nature.

Through my photography, I have become far more aware of the damage we humans do to our world, and believe it is vital to highlight what is happening and document both the negative and positive actions, showing both the damage we do and the difference we can all make by changing how we live, to limit the catastrophic effects of climate change on our planet.

I consider myself very lucky to live and work in one of the most beautiful countries in the world,
and am privileged to be able to photograph and show others the stunning nature, wildlife and landscapes of Scotland.
